Trail Life Course


You’ve learned a lot through Trail Life; why not get college credit for it? Bryan College offers EHS109 - Outdoor Recreation & Safety, a three-credit-hour online course that is specifically designed to leverage the learning of Trailmen. Qualifying Trailmen who have achieved at least their Ascent Award will be able to submit Trail Life badges or other documentation to fulfill many of the key assignments of this course, easily securing credit reflective of their Trail Life experiences.


EHS 109 is offered in the spring semesters. Registration for the course is planned to open in Fall 2025.


Bryan College Scholarship


Bryan College is proud to offer two separate scholarship opportunities to any Trailman who has achieved the Ascent Award or higher and who matriculates as a full-time, degree-seeking, residential student at Bryan College within three calendar years of said award(s).


  • Scholarship Option A: $1,250 first-year undergraduate scholarship, stackable with other Bryan awards.

  • Scholarship Option B: $6,000 per-year scholarship, non-stackable.
