FAQ
1. If I already have a MOTB membership through AHG, does this impact my TLUSA membership in any way?
Not really. While AHG is a partner of ours and has a very similar arrangement with MOTB, your TLUSA membership will be a completely separate membership from your AHG one. For example, if you have 3 daughters signed up for the AHG membership and pay $60 for that membership, and have one son who is a Trailman, you will have to pay an additional $20 for his TLUSA membership. He cannot be clumped in with the AHG membership.
Please note, however, that you will need to use a different email for the two memberships. If you already have an AHG membership, you will need to use a different email address for the TLUSA membership since using the same address may trigger an error which will prevent you from completing the transaction.
2. Is this membership only for those living in or around the museum in Washington DC?
Trailman and their families across the nation can take advantage of this great opportunity, whether or not they live near Washington DC or even intend to go there to tour the museum in person. With your MOTB membership, you are able to virtually tour the museum anytime you want and view video content from the MOTB's streaming platform, which includes exclusive Trail Life content also.
3. Is Trail Life planning a sleepover event at the museum?
As an organization, TLUSA is allowed one sleepover event at the museum per year. This event will be volunteer planned and run and will likely be smaller in scale. More details to come.
4. Do I need to download the MOTB app?
Yes, You will want to download the MOTB app. As a Museum of the Bible member, you will have access through the app to the virtual tour of the Museum anytime as well as access to all of the Museum's video content including the exclusive Trail Life content featuring the Wild Brothers. The app will be the only place to access these benefits of your MOTB membership.
5. Who is eligible for this membership?
All TLUSA youth members are eligible for this membership! While adult members are not eligible for the discounted membership, each youth member is entitled to one 50% off the walk-up price of general admission to the museum which can be used to purchase a discounted ticket. If a family with two boys with memberships visits the museum, both boys would get one 50% ticket, getting both parents in at half price.
6. Do you need to purchase your membership in advance?
