Ron Orr

Ron grew up in an Army family and served in the Army as a Medical Service Corps officer following college. His career has focused on organizational strategy and development, specifically with startup organizations. He has been married to his college sweetheart for over 30 years and has 3 adult children and 2 granddaughters. After living in Texas for the last 18 years Ron and his wife moved to the Nashville area to be closer to family.  Ron has volunteered in a number of church roles, has served as the board Chair for a homeschool association for 10 years, and 10 years as a high school baseball coach. From the launch of Trail Life, Ron served 7 years as a Regional Team Leader, transitioned from the RTL role and served as the Regional Freedom Award Liaison before serving this year on the Trail Life Board of Directors. He is a Freedom Rangeman (adult Eagle Scout transition) who was drawn to Trail Life’s mission to guide generations of courageous young men.
