American Heritage Girls

American Heritage Girls

American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls 5 to 18 years of age. AHG is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. Girls who complete the program will be Christ-following servant leaders who are honoring, relational, anchored in Christ, and competent.

Proven Ministries is a daily devotional and small group program focused on equipping fathers and sons for sexual purity. This ministry partners with families, individuals, churches, & organizations to empower every follower of Jesus to experience sexual purity. They have made several of their resources available to Trail Life members for free or at a discounted rate.

Manhood Journey

Manhood Journey exists to help dads become disciple-makers. We do this through a number of resources: Bible studies, E-Books, Digital Courses, Podcast, Articles and more. We seek to arm dads or dad-like individuals - mentors, coaches, uncles, grandparents - to grow in their spiritual walk and engage the next generation of Christ followers. We have specific tools for Trail Life leaders and volunteers.

Classical Conversations

How do you teach your child to experience and examine God’s creation? By learning alongside them in a community with a common goal.

When you homeschool with Classical Conversations, we connect you with a local community of families who not only learn together but do life together. We equip homeschool parents with the confidence to raise students who have a lifelong love of learning. Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention (ECAP) is a national association of Christian ministries dedicated to child and youth protection. ECAP’s Child Safety Standards are the basis for an independent and evidence-based accreditation program which results in a symbol of trust providing peace of mind for parents, confidence for parents, and deterrence for predators. ECAP is honored to support the important work of Trail Life by leading the industry with best practices for abuse prevention.

Bible2School is a public school ministry that provides free Bible classes to elementary school children DURING their public school day, typically over lunch and recess. This is a fully legal elective that ALL states recognize. The children walk or are bused to a nearby church where volunteers engage them in lively worship, interactive Bible lessons, hands-on activities, and spiritual connection.

Simpson University

Simpson University is a Christ-centered learning community committed to developing each student in mind, faith, and character for a lifetime of meaningful work and service in a constantly changing world. Because they value Trail Life and it's members, Simpson University is offering a $100,000 scholarship to Freedom Rangemen and a $75,000 scholarship to Trailmen.

Unbound is a training company that teaches young adults to thrive through a series of live events, hands-on experience in areas of interest, and project-based education. Unbound accomplishes this through its remote training program, Ascend. Ascend is a 1-3-year program designed for students 16 years old and up who want more than just academics out of their post-high school education. Unbound offers scholarship specifically for Trail Life members.

At Excel College, we're changing the game in higher education by forging a new educational path for Christian students to become wise, mature, and productive adults who live purposeful, fulfilling lives. Here, students gain hands-on experience in the field of their choice while learning to thrive in the context of community and growing intellectually, spiritually, practically, professionally, and missionally. These organizations have not been fully vetted by the Trail Life Home Office. They offer benefits to Trailmen and Troops, but being listed here implies no specific endorsements.

 

WVDNR

West Virginia DNR

Trail Life USA and the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources have signed a memorandum of understanding which granted Trail Life Troops free access to WV state parks while providing service project opportunities at those state parks for Trailmen.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross is dedicated to saving lives and easing human suffering through its network of volunteers, donors, and partners. It provides disaster relief, lifesaving blood, and critical training like CPR and first aid, while also supporting military families. The Red Cross ensures help is available when it’s needed most.

Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting

Consider applying for one of the two $1,000 scholarships offered by the EOCS each year. They select young people who demonstrate love of God and their Orthodox Christian Faith, as shown by their involvement and achievements in church, Trail Life, school, and community, as well as in a short, written statement.
